This week we talked about Second Life. It is like the game ”SIMS” but Second Life is more realistic. Second Life is a 3D world where everyone you see is a real person and every place you visit is built by people just like you. You can do whatever you like in Second Life. It is another life. If you want you can.It is amazing!

This week our topic was Weebly. We create a website in Weebly. It is a little complicated from other tasks but it is also enjoyable and interesting. We can publish whatever we want in our website. We can add more things in onur site such as wideos, pictures, gallery, embed codes, links etc. I hope my website will be interesting and enjoyable.
This week the topic was Podcast. We wisided www.eldpodcast.com. In this site there are a lot of audio files about English.There are so many advantage of using podcasting in education. We can access listenng records easily. We can download them if we want to carry. We can easily create a podcast from a digital audio file.
We also talked about Audioboo. Audioboo is a tool for audio producers to record, upload and share audio

My name is Taybe Çalışkan. I was born in 29 April 1991. My hometown is Bulgaria, Burgas. We move to Turkey when I was 9. My relatives still lives in Bulgaria and sometimes I visit them. I finished my primary, secondary and high school in İstanbul. Now I’m in Bolu. I’m a student of Abant Izzet Baysal University Department of English Language Teaching.
This week we talked about Edmodo and Prezi. We use Edmodo for our CALL Course and we use it aslo for our Academic Writing Course. Edmodo is online networking application for teachers and students. And parents also can use it. We can create quizes in edmodo and we can give homework for students. It is very enjoyable and useful site for both students and teachers. Teachers can follow their student’s developments in edmodo, also paretns can controll their child’s works in edmodo. It is very basic and everyone can use it easily.
And we also talked about prezi. Prezi is an online presentation tool that allows you to design your own distinctive, eye-catching presentations. It is more complex from power point and it has some difficulties but it is more attractive and intresting from power point. It is very effective.
This week our topic was Hot Potatoes.This program is authoring tools which allow teachers to create interactive exercises, in the form of web pages. Students can complete these exercises using a web browser program.
The Hot Potatoes includes six applications, enabling you to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the web. I think this program is very enjoyable for teachers and for students too.I like the name or the program very much.
This week we talked about Delicious. Delicious is a free service designed with care to be the best place to save what you love on the web. We can add tags for our links. Delicious is very useful and it helps us to organize everything in web. This tool is my favourite. I will use it in my whole life.
This week we are talking about Mobile Applications such as QR Code and Socrative. We created a socrative account as a teacher. In this application we can create quizes. We can ask multiple choice questions, true false question, and short answers.
Then we talked about Qr Code. Qr Code is very useful for education. QR code is used in billboards, newspapers, brochures, advertisements etc. In QR stuff we can create a code. We can add links, videos, photos etc. in code. For reading qr code we can download qr droid in our smart phones. The application read the code and we can show what is in the qr code.
This week we talked about Google Docs. In Google Docs we can create presentations, documants etc. at the same time.We can combining text with formulas, lists, tables and images. It is very useful for working collaboratively. I think I can use Google Docs in future with my students.
